The Truckee Cinnabar Vacation Retreat offers a mountain styled interior and access to top-notch community amenities in a convenient location.

This second floor 2 bedroom + den, 2 bathroom Truckee Cinnabar Vacation Retreat contains modern conveniences with mountain retreat décor. The great room where fond family memories can begin consists of one large room containing the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Sit down and take a load off on the leather sofa or loveseat and watch the snowfall gently through the glass doors. An angled tiled gas fireplace keeps things warm and cozy during the winters.

Plenty of entertainment is on hand for downtime in the condo, which offers Smart TV/ Roku, high-speed internet, and a large flat-screen TV situated over the fireplace. Step through the sliding glass doors to enjoy a cup of morning coffee on the deck, which overlooks other homes in the community. 

It is easy to save on the budget and enjoy some meals in if desired, with a stay in the Truckee Cinnabar Vacation Retreat. The home boasts a full kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. This expansive vacation home features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 lofts, 2 living areas, jaw-dropping 180 degrees mountain views and it overlooks Donner Lake, you'll be in awe the moment you step inside. Our Lakeview Mountaintop Tahoe Chateau was designed and decorated with you in mind, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Enjoy the pool table, the massage chair, play a dart game, or relax in the hot tub. The many decks offer options to retreat and read a book, or just enjoy the view, and the fort-like loft will be the kids favorite hideaway, no matter the season, age, or activity preference, you'll find something to do at our Lakeview Mountaintop Chateau!

On the main level of the home, you will find a great room with an impressive fireplace, a Chef's Kitchen, dining area, and living room. Off of the living room, there is an office with a queen built-in and also a full bathroom. On the other end of the home, you will find access to the second loft. Upstairs are three twin beds and a great space for kids to hang out and play games together. 

Downstairs you will find the expansive Master Suite with incredible views and a gas fireplace. The Spa-Esque bathroom features a luxurious copper tub that sits next to a gas fireplace that provides the perfect ambiance for relaxing after a long day in the mountains. There is also a separate shower with two sinks and the entire bathroom boasts mountain rock and stone aesthetics. 

Along with the master suite, you will find two guest rooms and a bunk room with two shared guest bathrooms. All bedrooms are south-facing to showcase the amazing views of the mountains over Donner Lake. 
The entire home boasts beautiful mountain craftsmanship and provides a special environment for you and the family on your next Truckee vacation. 

Items to Note:
Please note, you will need high clearance vehicles, snow tires, and/or chains, to access the home in the winter, the house is up top Tahoe Donner, which comes with an amazing view but also with a lot of snow and challenges if you aren't properly prepared.

Our Lakeview Mountaintop Tahoe Chateau home is a great property to spend your summer as well as your winter vacations, Tahoe Donner Association gives you access to the clubhouse that has 2 swimming pools (a heated lap pool open year-round and a big pool open in summer only), 3 hot tubs, 2 saunas, a cardio and a weight room. There is also a golf course and tennis courts only a few minutes drive from the house as well as a private association beach on the east end of Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a ski resort as well that's available for your enjoyment, especially great if you have children. You won't even need to leave the area because of all the great activities offered including 2 restaurants, hiking, and biking trails just as you walk out your front door, enjoy our private vacation home as much as we do.

Summer Activities Include: Golf, Horseback Riding, Hike and Mountain Bike Tours, Bocce Ball, and Archery.
Winter Activities are: Downhill Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, and Snowshoeing, Tubing, and sledding.

Each eligible property is issued two guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner. Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card. Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary from activity to activity. Children 6 and under are free.

We recommend a 4WD or AWD when traveling to Tahoe in the winter, chains are a requirement.

Towering ceilings and natural wood walls and beams make the Donner Lake Vacation Lodge truly feel like a mountain lodge. An elevated wall of floor-to-ceiling windows lets natural light flood in and provides a scenic view of the snow and greenery from the comfort of indoors. Curl up on one of two leather sofas in the living room to soak in the views. On cold winter days, warm up near the large stone fireplace. A large flat screen TV equipped with cable provides evening entertainment for the whole family. 

It's easy to prepare and enjoy meals in this thoughtfully arranged space, which provides open access to the kitchen. Upgraded stainless steel appliances and ample counter space aid in meal preparation. Pull up a barstool at the island to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast, and gather around the adjacent dining table, which seats ten, for family meals. On warm days, meals can be enjoyed outside on the deck just off of the great room, where there are tables with shade umbrellas. There is ample space for everyone in your party to spread out, and if you're visiting during summer, the decks will be the spot to enjoy meals, stargaze, soak in the hot tub, or just unwind with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring Tahoe.

Entry into Camp Howdy reveals a spacious great room, offering plenty of space for gathering together. A large stone fireplace and Americana décor create a mountain cabin atmosphere. Multiple leather sofas and an easy chair provide ample seating for curling up by the fireplace in the evenings under one of the warm throw blankets. A large, wall-mounted flat-screen TV is perfect for viewing an evening movie as a family. The living area flows easily into the kitchen, where you will find a spacious kitchen fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals if desired. Pull up a barstool for morning coffee or a quick lunch or prepare and enjoy a meal at the extensive dining table that seats six. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and reveal the serene view of the wooded yard and wrap-around deck. 

Enjoy Space and Privacy

Set apart from the others, the downstairs bedroom makes a good master. Admire views of the snow-covered pines from the queen bed. A wall-mounted flat-screen TV allows you to enjoy movies in bed before drifting off to sleep. Tiptoe out to grab your morning cup of coffee before retreating back to your room in the morning to catch up on your favorite shows and watch the snowfall. The great room inside this elegant home is open and airy, providing a spacious gathering area for your family or group. The focal points in the room are actually the towering pine trees outside, but the two-story wall of windows in the living room brings the outdoors in flawlessly. Admire the stunning wooded view from the couch, love seat, or accent chairs in the living room, or warm up alongside the large stone fireplace. Cook up a meal or grab a snack in the spacious kitchen, which is equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the cutlery and cookware you'll need to prepare meals if desired. A generously sized dining table is adjacent to the kitchen, where bench seating adds a stylish touch. Bar stools at the kitchen peninsula add additional seating to this Truckee vacation rental.

The Tahoe Donner Forest Hideaway is equipped with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to nine guests. Step out onto the deck from the master, where you can enjoy a quiet cup of morning coffee. The en suite bathroom boasts a spacious corner jetted tub, perfect for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. Double sinks allow plenty of space for multiple people to get ready in the morning, and there is also a separate glass enclosed shower.

The two guest bedrooms on the other side of the great room also offer queen beds and spacious mirrored closets with plenty of room for unpacking or storing luggage. Soft carpet, neutral bedding, and bedside lamps create a restful area for additional guests. Children or teens will be delighted to discover the upstairs loft in the Tahoe Donner Forest Hideaway. There is also a golf course and tennis courts only a few minutes' drive from the house as well as a private association beach on the east end of Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a ski resort as well that's available for your enjoyment, especially great if you have children. You won't even need to leave the area because of all the great activities offered including 2 restaurants and hiking and biking trails just as you walk out your front door. Enjoy our private vacation home as much as we do.

Each eligible property is issued two guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner. Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card. Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary from activity to activity. Children 6 and under are free.

The inside of this beautiful Lake Tahoe vacation home is the picture of ornate, modern furnishing. The high ceilings partnered well with soft lighting that fuses effortlessly with the natural light streaming through the many windows lining the walls of the living room. Tranquillity and style meet wonderfully at the Secluded Stony Creek Lodge. The living room is quaint and cozy, complete with a gas stove to add to the ambiance.
The kitchen is grand and certainly the heart of the home. Built with a deep bar as the counter, barstools line the counter that overlooks the rest of the kitchen. The cabinets are painted a soothing blue, and the dark countertops and stainless steel appliances bring this space together and make it the place to hang out with the family. To the side of the kitchen waits a long dining table ready to hold everyone in the party. 
On the same floor, you'll find 2 guest bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, a shared full bathroom, and a laundry room.
As you make your way upstairs, a large loft will open up with bountiful setting and beautiful views of the outdoors through the living room windows.
The grand master bedroom is located just off the loft, outfitted with a king bed, a large master bathroom, and a balcony, serene and peaceful for a great night's sleep.

You won't even need to leave the area because of all the great activities offered including 2 restaurants, hiking, and biking trails just as you walk out your front door, enjoy our private vacation home as much as we do.

Summer Activities Include: Golf, Horseback Riding, Hike and Mountain Bike Tours, Bocce Ball and Archery.

Winter Activities are: Downhill Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, and Snowshoeing, Tubing and sledding.

Each eligible property is issued two guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner. Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card. Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary from activity to activity. Children 6 and under are free.

You're also a short walk from the Legacy Trail which follows the Truckee River to the east. You can saunter along with the river and enjoy the amazing views. 

Step inside our Shabby to Chic Downtown Getaway to find a bright and tastefully designed living room, with plenty of seating for everyone in your group. This home features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen with all modern appliances, a large dining table, and an office desk for you to keep up with important business or plan your next adventure in the area. Step outside and enjoy the serene yard with comfortable seating, where mature trees provide plenty of shade, and enjoy the sounds of the water feature. 

While this home is pet friendly, there are restrictions on breeds mandated by the insurance company. Unfortunately, pit bulls and rottweilers will not be allowed. Our apologies.

A dark wood exterior and quaint front porch welcome you into the Tahoe Donner Meadow View Cabin. This home offers a spacious open floorplan with plenty of space to gather together. Soft carpet and a beautiful wood beamed ceiling make the living room a cozy, comfortable space. Put your feet up and relax on one of the plush couches or easy chair. Choose from a variety of family games available or warm up by the stone fireplace. Those who want to stay connected with technology will find a flat screen TV with cable in the living room, along with access to high speed internet. Admire views of the towering pines through the set of large glass doors, or head outside onto the deck to get a closer look.

The deck puts you right in the center of nature, with a thick forest of trees all around. A beautiful green meadow can also be seen through the trees. Back inside, a half wall provides some separation between the living room and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with upgraded stainless steel appliances and a spacious island for preparing food if desired. Pull up a seat to the island for a cup of coffee or breakfast, or enjoy a full meal at the eat-in dining table that comfortably seats seven. Modern art throughout the great room provides an element of surprise and a unique flair.
