Note from Owners
After visiting Maui for over 20 years, we were fortunate to find and purchase this perfectly located condo in the beautiful Ekahi complex. Within a few hundred feet of the pools, pavilion and world renowned beach, the condo offers privacy, tranquility with ocean sounds and peeks. The bedroom, living rooms and lanais were enlarged, making this one of the largest 1bedroom/2 bathrooms units in the Ekahi complex. The convenience of its ground floor location was additionally attractive to us as we wanted to avoid lugging suitcases and managing balance walking upstairs. After purchasing in a dream location, we embarked on a 7-month project to demolish and completely renovate the condo in a contemporary style. Our goal was to transform it into a home that we could live in for an extended period and one that our family and friends would be thrilled to visit. We have recently made the condo available for rental for discerning guests who like us, seek out tranquility, comfort, and access to all that Wailea has to offer. A Note from the Owner: We chose Maui as the perfect location for our second home based on year around outstanding weather. Every day has highs in the 80s and generally bright sunshine. Our favorite hobby is golf. There are 5 courses within a few miles' radius of Ekolu. Our favorites are the Wailea Emerald and Gold courses which hosted the Senior Skins Championship for 10 years.
Shopping and dining are also close by. The Wailea Shops are a gentle stroll down the walking path. We enjoy lunch and dinner at Tommy Bahama's, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Cheeseburger in Paradise and Longhi's.
The Wailea beach walk which stretches for 2 miles is convenient as well. While there, we have seen many whales and turtles. All the ocean sports are also easily accessible, including surfing, boogie boarding, snorkeling, paddle boarding and the list goes on. We come to Maui three times each year to enjoy all of these amenities and the incredibly friendly people who exemplify Aloha. We hope that your travel here will be just as rewarding and enjoyable as has ours.

A Note from the Owner: Our condo has been in our family for 25 years. The grandparents recognized the gorgeous views that Elua represented, snorkeling among the turtles, abundant sea life, great diving, fishing, and the opportunities to bike down the side of Mt. Haleakala. Since our purchase, we have installed a beautiful front view window and in 2017 we did a major renovation taking the condo down to the studs. Our condo has a fresh beach look, the same fantastic views and fabulous restaurants, golfing and shops are just next door. Our porch is perfect for relaxing and watching the whales. Because we have attended church in Makena for all these years, we now have had 4 of our grandchildren baptized at a 100-year-old Hawaiian church. Our connection to Maui is full circle. This remodeled over 1000sq ft condo boasts views of the Pacific and island of Lana'i. Right in the heart of Wailea this gated beachfront, low density complex is situated on Ulua beach (crescent sandy beach with snorkeling, swimming and more.) The condo has an oversized lanai with rockers, loungers, and a 6-top table. With a just renovated upper pool and hot tub, plus a recently renovated lower pool and pavilion right on the Wailea walkway you have lots of choices to beach it, pool it or lanai it on your Maui vacation. Take a short walk and enjoy happy hour, gourmet restaurants, and great shopping. Come back to the condo and have a great sleep on the California King bed or queen size pull out in air-conditioned comfort. With a rear path to the lanai that is wheel chair accessible, access to the large lanai to drop off your beach gear is a breeze. On top of a fully stocked kitchen we also keep on hand some Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a couple of coolers. This unit is professionally managed by Ali'i Resorts an on-island company with an on-island staff. They provide daily housekeeping, complimentary concierge and activity services, local recommendations, 24-hour emergency service and much more. With Ali'i you always have friends you can call on on the island.
