Der Tree Haus
Cozy and private "Tree Haus" cabin experience under the towering fir and maple trees at the base of Dirty Face Mountain in the Lake Wenatchee area. You will discover the "Der Tree Haus" is a charming getaway cabin that will make you feel as though you have escaped into your own private world of serenity and relaxation. What we like to think of as an adult version of a 'Tree House". Located directly off of the Lake Wenatchee Hwy near the North Shore of the beautiful Lake Wenatchee.
As you enter the main Tree Haus you are greeted by a comfy little living area with midcentury style couch and chair, a Smart TV w/DVD player and sound bar system for your entertainment needs, along with a cozy wood stove to heat up those chilly fall and winter evenings.
Next you will enter the little dining area with dining table that seats 4 guests, the kitchen is situated adjacent and offers refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven, coffee maker and all of the amenities. From the kitchen you are also privy to access the beautiful outside deck that is showcased by the many Maple Trees and its foliage making the perfect backdrop for your steak BBQ on the gas grill. Please note that the yard is not fenced so keep your pets leashed.
The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a queen bed, and just around the corner from there is the large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and shower that continues the tree house" feel by the large skylight that brings the feeling of outside in, as the leaves of the towering trees above dance in the sunlight. The tub is set up high and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
A washer and dryer also located on the main floor allows you to warm up those winter mittens, and ski gear after a day on the slopes at Stevens Pass.
Up a "ships" set of stairs (slightly steep) you will discover an open office/reading area, and the 2 additional bedrooms. The first bedroom also offers a queen bed for our guests and the second bedroom has twin over full bunk bed set, Due to the steepness of the stairs we do not advise for young children at this particular getaway.
A private hot tub is sheltered by beautiful intertwined branches on the spacious deck. Stone slabbed steps creep around the property for an organic sense of whimsy. Light can be dim in the evening hours so watch your step. Peek a boo view of Nason Ridge and late afternoon/evening sun enhance your outdoor experience, so what are you waiting for? This home requires 4WD, AWD or chains for winter access Fees Vary by the following: Guest Count, Pet Count, Seasons, Dates and Holidays. There is a maximum guest count for this home, 2 guests allowed per bedroom or up to the max listed occupancy. Children age 3 and under are FREE (included in max occupancy count). This home is pet friendly (max dogs on site is 2) Local State and Lodging Taxes applicable. 2 Night Minimum stay required or 3 Night Minimum for Federal Holidays.
Fees include the following: additional guest fees after the base rate is met $25 per guest per night, dog(s) $25 per pet per night if property allows, housekeeping fee, and a 5% booking fee (which covers credit card processing and protects property for up to $1,000 for accidental/unintentional incidental damages.) Willful and negligent damages are not covered under the Resort Fee and will be the sole responsibility of the contracted guest(s). State and Local Lodging Taxes are also applicable.
It is imperative to note, that we want our guests to be courteous mountain neighbors while staying in our vacation rentals. The Chelan County noise ordinance regulations states "QUIET TIMES" are between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. It is required that our guests acknowledge and adhere to these times to ensure "peace and tranquility" for all. This cabin accommodates 2 cars max, no street parking allowed.
