Southside Chalet offers warmth and comfort for those seeking time in the mountains for competition or comtemplation. Located in the middle of Mt. Hood National Forest, this alpine-style chalet is less than a 1/4 mile from Highway 26. It`s 5 miles from the nearest ski lift at Timberline Lodge & Ski Area, and 10 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort. If you are looking for a beautiful, cozy place to act as your home base while you are exploring Oregon`s Cascade Mountains, don`t miss the Southside Chalet!

Guests have access to entire home.

There is a team member available to assist guests should there be an issue.

Peaceful residential neighborhood.

There is no public transportation in Govy. Bring your 4-wheel drive in the winter. The neighborhood road is plowed but it is on rotation with other neighborhoods in the area so in times of heavy snow it may not be immediately cleared.

This lovely spot to land provides a well-stocked kitchen. Lots of fun toys and games are available for little ones in the bunk room and a foosball table in the garage!

We want you to enjoy your time at the mountain but we also care about being good neighbors so please note that this is not the place to stay if you are looking to have a party.

There is a noise monitoring device in the house. It does not record voices or conversations just decibel levels. There are two exterior security cameras; one is located near the front door and a second near the garage door.

Maximum number of cars is four however there are only two spaces in the garage (oversized) so during the winter only two cars should be parked at the house. Snow plows throw snow and ice and may cause damage to cars not parked in the garage. Parking in the driveway during the winter is to be done with caution and any damage to cars from plows or falling ice is the guest`s responsibility. No parking on the street.
