Built with the chef in mind, the kitchen is fully outfitted and has bar-style seating for people to join in the conversation while the chef whips up dinner. The dining room is surrounded by large windows, allowing guests to take in all the beauty of the surrounding Sierra-Nevada. Take in the fresh mountain air from the open deck over a glass of wine or come inside to warm up by the gas fireplace and soak into the plush furniture throughout the living spaces. Finally, the private hot tub is waiting for you to jump right in! Tahoe Bear Den features 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, and 2 bathrooms that are spread across 2-levels giving our guests plenty of space to relax how they choose. Our Tahoe Bear Den was designed and decorated with your family in mind, we even have a nursery set-up with 2 cribs, so families with babies are able to settle in and make this a home away from home! Enjoy table games, a movie on the flat-screen TV, or jump in the hot tub right off the living room, or get out the sleds, as the backyard has the perfect ski hill for winter fun. LOCATION/AMENITIES Our Tahoe Bear Den is a great property to spend your summer as well as your winter vacations, Tahoe Donner Association gives you access to the clubhouse that has 2 swimming pools (a heated lap pool open year-round and a big pool open in summer only), 3 hot tubs, 2 saunas, a cardio and a weight room. There is also a golf course and tennis courts only a few minutes drive from the house as well as a private association beach on the east end of Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a ski resort as well that's available for your enjoyment, especially great if you have children. You won't even need to leave the area because of all the great activities offered including 2 restaurants, hiking, and biking trails just as you walk out your front door, enjoy our private vacation home as much as we do.

Each eligible property is issued two guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner. Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card. Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary from activity to activity. Children 6 and under are free.
