This home is located in the heart of the Tahoe Donner community which means only a 15-minutes commute to Palisades Tahoe and Alpine, a 20-minute drive to Lake Tahoe, or a 6-minute drive to the local Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort.
Welcome to Quittin' Time Chamonix Chalet, as pass through the mudroom you get the immediate feeling of relaxation with the open floor living room leading you directly to a lounge area, the kitchen, and the dining room table. Mountain modern furnishings and decor, and a vast array of windows for natural light make this space a warm and inviting home away from home. Next to the living room is a custom-designed kitchen that gives you an abundance of space to cook while saving you from missing out on any family fun. Walking past the kitchen you'll enter the hallway leading to each of the 3-bedrooms and 3-bathrooms. The same feeling of warmth and serenity is carried throughout this beautiful home, to create an unforgettable stay for you and your family.
LOCATION/AMENITIES Tahoe Donner Ski resort is only 5 minutes away, the clubhouse is about 5 minutes away, Northstar and Squaw Valley are within 20 minutes drive, and plenty of trails for hiking, biking, and walking. Our Chamonix Duo 1 is a great property to spend your summer as well as your winter vacations, Tahoe Donner Association gives you access to the clubhouse that has 2 swimming pools (a heated lap pool open year-round and a big pool open in summer only), 3 hot tubs, 2 saunas, a cardio and a weight room. There is also a golf course and tennis courts only a few minutes drive from the house as well as a private association beach on the east end of Donner Lake. Tahoe Donner has a ski resort as well that's available for your enjoyment, especially great if you have children. Summer Activities Include Golf, Horseback Riding, Hike and Mountain Bike Tours, Bocce Ball, and Archery. Winter Activities are Downhill Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, Tubing, and sledding. Each eligible property is issued two guest cards to access the recreation amenities available in Tahoe Donner. Guest cards only allow for up to 4 guests per card. Guest access fees apply per person per day and vary from activity to activity. Children 6 and under are free.
We recommend a 4WD or AWD when traveling to Tahoe in the winter, chains are a requirement.
