Soaring Great Room

Towering ceilings and natural wood walls and beams make the Donner Lake Vacation Lodge truly feel like a mountain lodge. An elevated wall of floor-to-ceiling windows lets natural light flood in and provides a scenic view of the snow and greenery from the comfort of indoors. Curl up on one of two leather sofas in the living room to soak in the views. On cold winter days, warm up near the large stone fireplace. A large flat screen TV equipped with cable provides evening entertainment for the whole family.

It's easy to prepare and enjoy meals in this thoughtfully arranged space, which provides open access to the kitchen. Upgraded stainless steel appliances and ample counter space aid in meal preparation. Pull up a barstool at the island to enjoy morning coffee and breakfast, and gather around the adjacent dining table, which seats ten, for family meals. On warm days, meals can be enjoyed outside on the deck just off of the great room, where there are tables with shade umbrellas. Multiple seating areas around the property provide a variety of hangout spaces when the weather is nice.

Maximum Privacy

Multiple master suites in the Donner Lake Vacation Lodge make this an ideal vacation rental for multiple families or small groups. With one master bedroom located on the main level and the other located upstairs with the additional guest bedrooms, everyone can enjoy their own space and privacy. The first-floor master boasts a king bed and adjoined bathroom with double sinks and plenty of vanity space. The large jetted tub is perfect for soaking and unwinding in the evening. Wooden beams and recessed lighting continue the mountain lodge flair throughout the master suite.

The spacious upstairs begins with a loft area overlooking the great room. This additional living space is great for watching movies or playing games. The second-floor bedrooms include two bedrooms with queen beds and another with two sets of twin bunkbeds. Kids and teens will love bunking in their own space!
